It became a tradition: on every Israeli Independence Day we go to the streets of Tel Aviv to commemorate the Nakba in order to remind the Israeli public the disaster of the destruction of most of Palestinian localities in 1948 which turned 750,000 Palestinians to refugees.
We went to the streets of center Tel Aviv and suggested people a simple - yet provocative - gesture to acknowledge publicly the Nakba
כבכל יום עצמאות נצא לרחובות העיר לציין את הנכבה כדי להזכיר לציבור הישראלי את האסון של הרס רוב הישובים הפלסטיניים והפיכת 750,000 איש/ה לפליטים ב-1948 כדי להקים מדינה יהודית. נציע לחוגגים/ות (ולאלה שלא) מחווה אישית פשוטה של הכרה בנכבה.
